I booked a car with 2 drivers for a trip to New Zealand. Instead this company charged me for two cars, instead of 2 drivers. I notified them immediately in October (before I even left for my trip) and have had a huge run around ever since. I have proved this with everything they have asked for. My trip now is over and the car rental company in New Zealand even notified them that only one car was taken. Still no refund. Every email is from a different service rep, they all ask again and again for my credit card statement, my booking number, and more. They asked me to phone and was left on hold to the uk so long my cell phone bill was outrageous. Still no resolution. I have had the run around so often I have now reported it as fraud to my credit card company. Beware! I will NEVER book with them again.
terrible service. Better stay away. shoddy outfit .and rental companies will not honour voucher and charge you again at desk as walk in customer .. so full charge,,STAY AWAY !!
Complete cowboys. Made booking through them. Went to pick up car and the rental company 1) refused to honour the rental; and 2) said the insurance rentalcars had made was not valid on their car.They refused to provide a refund. Wasted five hours of my life. Avoid at all costs.
It should be possible to give no star- they really deserved non. We hired a car in Split and we were informed wrong about the local rental company and its policies. We ended up with signing a full car insurance by the local shop. The info was on a white board at the office wall- so the guy didn't made up stuff here. It was an even better and cheaper offer concerning insurance. The trouble started when I wrote a message to rental-cars about this. The first guy was reasonable and friendly and offered me a refund of our insurance payments by rental-cars. If that had happened they would have received quite a lot more stars here. But it didn't. It costs us 2 weeks and a number of mails to finally get our refund. Always different people with different strategies to hale out time. I had to send the same papers in twice, the had no details of my credit card and so on. After all a bad experience.
