One of if not the coolest bar Ive seen in the UK. So many original industrial features remain, tonnes to look at whilst sipping a pint.Great selection of beers and wines and all at a super reasonable price too.Separate games area to fill your boots with console games old and new.Dog friendly too and an indoor/outside smoking area.
It potentially is nice but we had a very bad experience with the bouncer and the manager with not a real reason. Our fault me and my friend started to dance on a bench. The bouncer came and told us "you go down or I'll kick you out". fair enough. So we went down and started to dance again. But one of the bouncer took my friend anyway and brought her out. He said because of dancing in the sofa but... Why only her and not me? So we explained it to them and asked to talk to the manager as we found it unfair but the answer was not satisfactory at all. Their behavior was exaggerate for the circumstances. Not very thinking forward because looking at the amount of bars that are in the NQ they need us as customers much more than how we need them as a bar. Of course we will never come back.
Great bar, reasonable prices, great range of spirits for cocktails etc. Nice courtyard smoking area so you don't have to leave. Often have live music or live DJ playing. Really nice atmosphere.
Great atmosphere, including aesthetics, people and music. Theres loads of board and card games to play too and a nice separate indoor secluded smoking area. Drinks arent cheap, but its 100% worth it.
