Very friendly and helpful. Accommodated 22 of us comfortably on a Friday afternoon. Excellent choice of beers.
Lovely, friendly bar with great ales and Belgian beers. They also allow you to bring chips in to eat from the chippy next door. Smoking area to the rear.
Fantastic atmosphere that strikes the perfect belance between traditional pub and modern bar. Staff are friendly and relaxed, nice open space and a great place to finish your night with a beer and a board game.
This relates to Casks recent opening in Ancoats. Full credit to the staff who are sparky and quirky. However; the interior and atmosphere is...blank and trite. Ditch the carved wooden stools; please incorporate an acid-etched/oblique detail to the windows (dont do the glass fishbowl thing; just because you make the interior visible to those walking by, it doesnt make it look appealing - the same statement applies to Canto). The owners of this space have unwittingly created an echoing cavern. Id advise them to make the space more private, and cushioned in terms of sound quality...and then take it from there. Flawed in many ways, but not as far as the staff are concerned; theyre a credit to the business. But seriously, please correct the interior; its cold - almost disinfectant. Do better.
