Thieves! Ontop of the fact that the carpark is far too small for bigger cars... it had an absolutely shocking pay machine, my ticket totalled 11, inserted 6 and wouldnt accept my final 5 so i cancelled transaction to pay by card, recieved no refund of which it said i would, rang for help, spoke to 3 different people who were rude and arrogant and to top it off they they charged me 14 ontop of the 6 i lost as it had rolled over the 2 hour mark, wouldnt help me at all and i will never be using this carpark again.
This car park has been steadily declining for years. I don't park here often but the last couple of times I haven't felt safe at all. I have witnessed 2 drug deals, men blocking the stairwell and had to walk back into Kendals to alert someone (really because I wanted someone to walk me to my car!). Despite this, and by the way the Kendals staff rolled their eyes it isn't an unusual occurence, the prices are some of the highest in Manchester and they regularly increase.Great location but they need to post a security guard or two to justify the prices.
Well done NCP, you've won the award of my first ever one star review for the following reasons. 1. This car park is way too small for a modern car. Having to shoehorn myself out through a tiny gap is never fun, especially when the car's soaking wet due to the weather that Manchester is famous for.2. The prices. For the price you charge for parking, I could take up TWO spaces and solve issue number 1 and still have change to spare.
