If you like machines and stuff, this is a nice place to spend a few hours. It's even got areas for kids to learn science and have fun too
Wow, this area has aircraft in an Emaculate condition and they let you get in for free. I was suprised to see a Lightning P1A and the predecessor to the Chinook. It was also a good place to see an intact L1011 cockpit as these have become quite rare. Overall the museum here is top class and I was suprised for the amount of aircraft in here such as a tail dragging Shackleton which are fairly rare. Would highly reccomend a visit to this museum and would reccomend crossing the street to the main museum as that has an L1011 engine in it as well. Overall this museum is top class and would highly recommend. How they fit the aircraft in in the first place is another question in itself.
Great experience!
Well worth spending a few hours here.
Such a let down . How things have change for the worse . And how can you sell something for 10 whats in the pound shop for 1 .Only thing whats better is the clean toliets
