Lots of buses and trams to look at. Quite a few to get on and look around. Nice cafe with a good selection of food and drinks and reasonable prices. Very cold in the museum itself - wrap up when you visit!
Great if you like looking at old buses, and climbing aboard some. There's also plenty of old signage and a prototype tram at a platform. Friendly staff and there were people working on restoring a couple of buses while we were there. It's inside a depot so it's not very warm in winter!
Rows and rows and rows of buses. It was cool we could climb up on some of them. My two year old loved it. We didn't stay a super long time.
A good place to explore the history of transport in Manchester. It is not a place with modern structures. It's good to visit the place for educational purposes. The souvenirs are not so bad either. There is space for improvement.
Absolutely the best 4.00 I've spent in a long time. Thoroughly enjoyed every minute of my 3 and a half hours there. I would recommend this museum to anyone of any age. It was a real nostalgia trip down memory lane on many buses that I've been on in my not so old lifetime. The effort put into restoring these old buses is fantastic. The staff were wonderful and so full of knowledge and the cafe is great too. Thank you for making my visit a great one.
