Great museum with lots of interesting exhibitions, and one of the only museums I've been to with a live vivarium (has lizards, snakes and frogs). Don't make the mistake we almost made by thinking the only exhibition is the bottom floor, there isn't a lot of signage for the upper floors.
Go to the 2nd floor and you'll find the nicest and most interesting guide ever! He tells you things you just wouldn't be able to find out yourself. Best part was when he told us about the elephant skull. Great day out!!!
What a great day out we have had. We went to the museum as our 7 year old wanted to see a T-Rex. We were blown away with how great this place is. How can somewhere so amazing me free?!?
Good number of exhibits. There is not that much detail or discussion about each of them, however. Parking is a little limited. Could do with some more interactive content for children. If you go late in the day the cafe will likely be sold out of food.
