It is very hard to believe that, this type of customer service still exists in UK. Me and my 2 other friends want to join this gym because it is close to all of us. We went their 2 days just to visit but no one came out to open the door both of the days. After waiting 20 minutes we had to come back with meeting no one from the gym staff member. They have their time on the board for the customer service but I think it is just formalities. I will never recommened anyone. If you look for value gym or 24/7 gym there are lot more options available. Please do not waste your time.
Great gym. Gets super busy sometimes. But if you don't go peak times between Mondays and Tuesday 5-7pm its not too bad. There is no sauna or steam room.
It is very busy and there is no paper towels etc to wipe the equipment or your hands which means the equipment is normally sticky at peak times.Parking is a bit of a joke, never any spaces so have to park outside on the road. There is also not enough room for 2 cars to come in/out on either sides of the road. This would be fine if they gave clear give way signs/one way arrows so people used one side as an entrance and the other as an exit. But there isnt, so it is a dangerous free for all and i'm often in a face off with another car as we both assume we have right of way.
Absolute Shambles.I started as a Personal Trainer and would not even begin to list the multitude of problems caused by a totally dysfunctional organisation. There is complete disregard for Customer Service from Head Office and Key Decision makers.There are some good people at foot soldier level trying their best to make a difference - but without any substance in support, they may as well re-arrange the deck chairs on the Titanic.The Gym Fallowfield is indeed very busy - the classic case of a large multiple securing a Primary location guaranteed to attract large numbers at a cheap price. They then do not give a damn about the lack of equipment to service such large numbers of members (unless you train at 4am)- I quickly moved on to another PT job with a more responsible organisation after just 10 days of utter chaos in all aspects.
I would give 0 star if possible. I injured myself (a weight plate fell on my foot) during a session for which reason I stopped going. Requested the gym for a reimbursement on medical grounds and to suspend my membership until I recovered from an operation that was due soon. They said they would provided I supply medical evidence I give them all appointment letters and they respond by saying they won't give a refund because they also want a doctor's note to say I couldn't exercise. Not only that they deducted 5 for the suspended period and the customer advisor on the phone did not mention they would do this. I am disappointed that a big company like that has such poor customer service.
