Did not complete the sign on process as could not justify the sign up fee (was only in Man for a week). Despite this a charge for the sign up fee and a months membership have appeared on my bank statement even though I did not finish filling in the online forms to join.
Great gym with fabulous facilities, both CV and weights areas superbly stocked and awesome classes too.Staff are welcoming and very helpful. Thank you....!
Best gym in the area! Very spacious, lots of equipment, good variety of classes (HIIT, cardio, body pump type, yoga etc), separate spinning studio. Friendly and helpful staff. Open till late. Sauna. Vibe and atmosphere are great. Best value for money.
I do my workout in this gum regularly. They have versatile sets of machines and free weights, along with a huge studio. Their collection for cardio is also impressive. The gym is usually free during 0830-1100 and 1330-1600.
I joined this cheap gym in an effort to fit my training around my commute, as by the time I get home after a train journey fraught with delays I don't always have time to get to my usual gym before closing.I have only visited this gym once so far, and I wasn't impressed. It's large for the city centre and nicely styled. The range of strength equipment is decent, but cheap and so not the best. The cardio equipment seems to be of a high spec and excellent standard. The changing rooms are large and comfortable with lots of lockers. It's a con that the gym is advertised as having lockers, but when you arrive you have to purchase a lock to use them. This gym has a bad atmosphere and inconsiderate clientele. Men in the weights area stopped what they were doing to stare when I (a woman, an alien beast) went in with the clear intention of lifting heavy things. This does not put me off as unfortunately I am used to it, but it is incredibly rude and could be disheartening to those who are new to lifting or lack confidence. Many of above men were not lifting heavy things, but sitting on or holding equipment while chatting to their mates during peak time when the gym was incredibly busy and people were clearly waiting. The majority of the squat racks have fixed safety bars that are much too high for those of small stature to be able to do a full squat - so are absolutely useless unless you are the height of the average male.I will use this gym for the month now that I have paid, as it is close to the train station and convenient. However, I will most likely be cancelling my membership. Would not recommend unless cardio is your thing.
