Not organised and out of date. Embassy really needs to shut down and relocate to a better building with parking and more floor spaces. It's like a conveyor system. Can't see why there cannot be a room with one person who is trained to complete the process from start to finish rather than go here, pay this and take your picture here. It's not hard to have one person do this, if they cannot then it just incompetence of Pak staff and leadership E.g. Nadra. The space is limited, and staff are stressed due to this and it is taken out on public. One more point the suggestion link on website does not work. I wonder why.
We have 3 children that needed 1st nadra cards. We were the fifth family there and by the time we were done we were the last family out. A nice and quiet experience for my family. The process is simple enough. I think the thing that frustrates people is the cramped and ugly dated look of the place. Plus other people's kids that get in the way
I was very impressed with how efficient and organised the staff were at this office. After hearing negative remarks about this place I was expecting my renewal of NICOP card to be a lengthy and unpleasant experience but it wasn't. As soon as I walked in and registered myself and my parents, we were called in, had our photos taken, fingerprints taken, had our forms processed and then submitted. All done really smoothly and within the hour. Staff were really helpful and patient especially with my elderly parents.(My appointment was at 11.30am so maybe that's why there was no waiting time for us because as we were leaving, the waiting room was getting rather full so if you don't want to wait book early morning !)Highly recommended !!
If it were possible to leave less than one star I would do so! , what a horrible experience! This place is a joke, just ridiculous! Nothing is explained on the website, and the staff are arrogant and rude just like all the other negative reviews say. On arrival the staff speak to people in a rude and patronising way, and then put unreasonable demands like asking for additonal identification documents for which there is no information given on the website, and this after already having charged customers the fee for renewing their Pakistani ID card. If you try to ask these people questions to clarify all their weird policies, they are unhelpful and rude. I was told to provide my mother's ID card then and there, or I would risk not having my renewal processed, and this is after I had paid 72! Just unbelievable! I was then pestered by the staff to call my mother on my phone then and there, and ask her to email a copy of her Pakistani ID immediately. When I told them it would not be possible to do it today, as my mum was at work, I was told I did not have a choice but to get the scanned copy to them by today or else they would not process my renewal. I then told them their service was just awful, absolutely unfair and unprofessional! Why take people's money, if you are unwilling to provide them a service just because they haven't got all their bloody documents on them, which they were never told about in the first place! This place is best to be avoided!!!
I Had an appointment for 3pm till 3.30pm which i booked online to renew my ID card. It was all done by 3.15pm. No complaints here
