Phone service is rubbish on hold for 25 min before giving up. Only contacting as my item was signed for on delivery but not myself as I have not received it!!!
I fear it when I miss a parcel because I am trans and often (33% of time) get abuse when picking them up. Usually this place is good and I haven't experienced it here before. but today I got shouted at for being too close to the lady being served. I was a respectful distance away about 7 feet. The employee then shouted at me how important it was that I couldn't see peoples ID as they were being served.There's always a huge queue at this place and I like to make room for people behind me so they don't have to stand outside in the cold, as often happens the queue goes out the door. I know this isn't this particular employees fault and never complain or get angry to him about it.I don't know if this was the usual transphobic abuse or he genuinely thought I needed a lecture. I am fed up and tired, I am not going to make it long through 2019.
One of my most recent online purchases was to be delivered by Royal Mail Tracked 24; I have tracked the item on the Royal Mail Track and Trace service and the item is shown as delivered (Manchester South East DO) but it hasn't been received. I have only gotten home from work slightly before 18:00 and I have also checked with my concierge (mail room) and no item have been delivered by the Royal Mail at the time that it is stated that it was delivered (12:32). My concierge will be going through the CCTVs again but the man that was on duty at the stated time have verbally confirmed that no parcels have been delivered by Royal Mail. I have had many parcels delivered to the mail room when I am not home and never had any parcels missings so I do not doubt the integrity of my concierge. I am very distraught and extremely annoyed about this whole situation. What is also extremely odd is that the parcel was apparently signed for with my name and this definitely wasnt the case as I was not even home. I hope to get to the bottom of this but will be involving authorities if this cannot be resolved as this is an outright case of theft. What kind of world do we live in when delivery companies mark packages to be (signed for and) delivered when it has not been. I will definitely try to never purchase anything online that uses Royal Mail for deliveries anymore. Moving forward, only Click-and-Collect or Amazon Delivery Service for me.
Abysmal manager at this sorting office. I has 2 special delivery items arriving on the day I was going away on holiday. A work emergency meant I wasn't in to sign for them and duly left a note on my door to post them through my porch window and have the post sign on my belhalf or leave with a neighbour. Neither was possible. So I went to the sorting office where despite the good natured postmen, the manager would not release the parcels to me despite having identification and the 2 failed delivery slips, and also my postman was there who knows me and apologised for not being able to give them to me. She is a complete disgrace and let down to Royal Mail. I even overheard other postmen complaining about her as they had been given addition mail to deliver after their shifts had finished. I will never use RM Special delivery again. It's a complete pain the hoops you have to jump through if a delivery is failed. At least with couriers you can ask them to deliver to neighbours or in a safe place at your own risk.
Staff and rude and condescending. Get it redelivered instead of picking it up. I made that mistake three times already
