Disgusting customer services and upon discussing criminal complaints over the phone prepare to be met with unprofessional and unqualified people with bad manners, poor communication skills and lack of regard. I have rang GMP several times regarding minor incidents which required simple (and not severe) resolutions and were met by a wall of difficulty in processing my complaint(s). The person on the phone didn't understand or want to understand the situation and was very a standoffish and argumentative. Upon asking about their position with the police told me they were civilians and not police officers. Why have we got untrained and unqualified people working the phones with potentially sensitive vulnerable circumstances in one of the busiest and most densely populated cities in the UK? Pathetic. Lost my confidence in the GMP.
They are criminals not police and not professional

The officer is not polite and helpful. He didn't accept the tenancy agreement as a proof of address. So mean
All these years i had upmost respect for the police department in this country. I phoned this particular station to update the police on a crime that I have already reported and the officer who picked up hung up on me. What a bad experience. They have not only been unable to help me but when I have actually needed their help they have always dissappointed me. Completely and utterly disgraceful. I hope that one day your children go to university away from home and they face the same hardships so you know how important it is that you do your job properly.
