For a holiday Inn, it felt more like an express. The rooms were compact but tidy and on the plus side you got a bath!The biggest things going for it is that it always seems to have reasonable rates and isn't too far from the tramstop for easy access to central Manchester

Staff are friendly and welcoming. Food was average but have had better. Hotel unfortunately is very tired. The third floor room I had was very noisy at night and kept me awake due to the old window. The bed creaked due to the mattress age. The bathroom shower curtain bottom was orange. The shower was cold in the morning which prompted a complaint to the reception. No bin liners in bins. The carpet was obviously tired like the room.Overall as a holiday Inn frequent user this hotel is probably the worst I stayed at.
Easy and accessible car park. Clean and tidy. Poor Reception. Receptionist left the desk unattended and had to wait him until he gets back. Poor mattress. You can even feel every single spring when you move on it.
