it's a good place to study and get work done as it's quite thoughout the day, the Staff are frendly and helpful. Also the art gallery I seen as awesome
Lovely place for reading and spending time but bit noisy in that area
Extremely conducive for reading and studying. Dome study area in the centre of the library is beautiful and extremely quiet. Echoes any slightest noise, so there's an incentive to keep as silent as possible to avoid embarrassing yourself. Architecture outside is amazing as well. Has toilets downstairs.
A very traditional library. During a visit to Manchester I was able to sit in peace with lots of space to work on my uni bits and pieces.
Very well maintained and a very helpful public resource. As a tourist, it might be worth dropping in to see the architecture itself, but as a local it has much higher value in the access to the wide array of books available. Technology section can do with a few more updated books. Reading room upstairs is a fantastic place to work by yourself.
