This is a unique and wonderful place, and is well worth a look. The architecture is truly beautiful. It's free to enter so please do visit.

Very beautiful library, you'd be amazed by the stunning architecture. It's not only a place to visit, but also you can go for studying there!Very nice and helpful staff.Temporary exhibitions are interesting. The library has a small caf and a tiny shop.Make sure to use the "historical toilets".You can book a tour, but a couple of weeks in advance.Free entrance.

What a surprise this building is i loved exploring inside and took some amazing photo's. Loved looking at all the books but with them being such a age they are all in cabinets which is understandable. Lovely gift shop too! Well worth a visit AND free!

This is one of the most beautiful libraries I have ever seen. The stone work is well preserved with rich colours, the books are varied and have such interesting names. There are people using the library so you will need to be respectful of that. Below the main area is the old entrance with a do it yourself photobooth. You can take some pictures with friends and post it to wherever while tagging the library. The best part is that it is free! Donations welcome of course. I highly recommend this place.

Lots of people told me this was a 'Must See' in Manchester. It's lovely. A beautiful building with free admission. You can spend an hour here just wandering around and photographing the gorgeous windows and architecture and books. There is a coffee shop and a little shopping area and toilets. Recommended.
