Worst hairdressers ever!! Avoid!! Asked for my hair to be cut an inch and a half all over and styled straight on 16th Jan. The stylist Kit suggested to have it styled wavy with a diffuser, I wish I had stuck to my guns and had it styled straight. It looked and felt awful when I left due to the products he had used so that night I went to wash it myself and realised my hair was completely different lengths!! The front was over an inch and a half longer than the back!! This is obviously why he had suggested to style it wavy, to disguise the poor cut he had done. The salon was closed when I realised so I sent an email with 8 photos to them and I had to go to a local mobile hairdresser to fix it at 8am the next morning, as I was going travelling for a month that same day and couldnt risk going away with my hair like that. When the salon opened at 10am I called them straightaway and they refused to give me a refund as I had gone elsewhere to fix it, even though they could clearly see from the photos I had sent how terribly my hair had been cut. I explained that I wouldnt have been able to go into them as I had a flight to catch and didnt live locally but they didnt care. I had to pay out twice and my hair is a lot shorter than I would have liked. They are now ignoring all my subsequent emails about the matter. I cant ring as Im still abroad but I will be going in to see them when I return to demand my refund in person as Im not letting them get away with this. I had been a loyal customer for 2 years and this is how they treated me. Worst hairdressers and customer service in the world!!!

I have been going here for a haircut since March and I always come back because I trust their work. Everyone is really great in understanding what kind of haircut you want. I had haircuts with the students, with Allison and last time with Kit. All amazing haircuts. I highly recommended it. I will keep coming back!
Circumstances meant that I started going to Nicky Oliver's Salon nearly a year ago after historically only going to the hairdressers twice a year. It has changed my life. I now go there every 4 weeks or so and would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone. Nicky himself is so much more than a stylist, he has advised me on styles and treatments of course but has also been kind, caring and a really amazing support. My hair always looks amazing and I feel great and confident every time I leave, to the point where strangers in the coffee shop have stopped and commented on how great my hair looks.Next visit I plan a major change in style and colour and I cant imagine even contemplating going anywhere else. Keep up the fantastic work everyone.
