Great night out. Bit messy standing would book a table next time. Would definitely recommend.
Enjoyed the racing but went in with a package that included food. Last year it was the chippy bit, they've now closed that but it was palatable. You have to use the burger places upstairs now, I can only describe the food as filthy. Absolutely disgusting excuse for food at an even more disgusting price. The only positive is that it would clearly not take much digesting as it must have already been digested previously. You really need to sort it out.Good news, went back and the chippy is back open. Much better, enjoyed the food and the night was great. Have updated from 1 start to 4. Thanks.
Had a fabulous time watching stock cars and bangers. The fireworks were just spectacular. Directions were easy off sat nav and plenty of parking. Good food and drinks available. Clean toilets. No negatives
Met by anti greyhound people. Showing distressing graphic pictures of dead dogs! They didn't care that we had two 11yr old kids in the car. The kids got quite upset, and we hadn't even parked up! Once you've queued and got in, the refreshments are priced at nightclub prices, extortionate!! Food is basic, bland and very overpriced. The races are fun. At the end of the evening, you are greeted by greyhound rescue dogs and asked to give to charity. Dogs are dressed up ridiculously and seem TOO compliant. Taints the event.
Great night out for all budgets. You can use the Restaurant or the Burger bar to eat. Plenty of drinks available. Even the betting is fairly straightforward. The building is a little tired in places. I would recommend this place.
