Awful nursery at abraham Moss, child was coming home with injuries to the face repeatedly during the school week, nursery teachers response to parents are we don't know what happened, which is unacceptable. Saw teachers letting children climb the tree area while they were too busy having a gossip session, playground ratio of teachers need to be changed aswell, more staff outside in the playground needed, avoid at all cost, I had to change schools for my childs safety. Staff lack compassion which is needed to be a good nursery teacher. Children are allowed for fighting to go on too long before there is any intervention in the playground. Older children are also hanging around at home time causing disturbance to locals. Avoid, avoid
If your looking for a school for your child to exceed and develop their learning skills... look else where. I recently graduated this year and did most of my learning using YouTube and text books. The school only focuses or helps you if you have physical disabilities, behaviour problems or anger issues. If that does not apply to your child then consider them uneducated.
Pretty good! This school has a great sense of strength, if I say so myself. However, frustrated teachers and disruptive students is a problem which really needs to be sorted out because then it's the students education on the line. I know every school has it's down moments but this is too constant. But that is a regular problem many schools across Manchester and the whole of the UK face, I guess. Abraham Moss in general is great!
This school needs professional AND educated teachers at this very moment. My friend recommended this school to me as I was quite new to this part of the area so I enrolled my step-daughter to this school. I wouldn't have come here if I knew what sort of INADEQUATE work my child has been doing in lessons. My child has learnt FAR MORE in primary school. It's appalling. Shame.
