I required my chimney removing from a bedroom and off the roof along with adding a few plug sockets and plastering work, all relatively straight forward or so it should be) the work started at the end of June and was advised this would be completed within a Week.. Im still awaiting it to be completed as well as the damage he caused whilst doing the works. I have had no hot water since he started works as he has not capped my radiator correctly. I have 1 plug socket flush to the wall and level, the other 3 sockets are either hanging out of the wall, are not chased in or are wonky( i guess 1 out of three is not bad?!) Also one of the sockets was not earthed so I went two days without electricity. I have a wire trapped behind the plaster board which was left there for not other reason than complete idiocy. The door handles were broken off during the works which were never replaced, the window was also broken by James and his colleagues which also remains broken with an empty promise to return and fix (he didn't turn up on the agreed date ad have heard nothing since) My wooden floor is covered in splashes of plaster and concrete as James didnt cover anything up when the works took place. I have spent weeks redoing the work myself to get my house to standard. If I could access my loft I would be in there immediately as i have no doubt I would find mistakes. I advise anyone to not go ahead with works from this company or James directly.

Worst company I have ever had to deal with, we were promised a dormer extension 4 - 6 weeks to complete - this was October 2016 and still not complete, we did stop using them in Feb 2017 I would never ever recommend them to anyone. It cost us 18000 - to them anyway, I dread to think the amount we have spent making all their mistakes right. Please avoid at all costs do not hire them. The owner, manager or whoever he was - James Thurston - he was very rude to us and became aggressive when we advised we had a solicitor involved. They ruined our house - I just wish we listened to our solicitor and took them to court but I wanted my house back and I couldn't live any longer with how cold it was.I have started a blog on word press with the full extent of what really happened and when i finally complete this I will be posting the link for everyone to read.
These jokers charged me 3000 to repair the roof, which wasn't leaking. Took them weeks to complete it and they only did so after i refused to pay them because of the shoddy job. They left broken tiles and unsealed joints everywhere. I don't think they expected me to climb up the scaffold to take a look. 12 months later and I've got 2 bad leaks in the areas they "repaired". Numerous calls to James who said he'd come and have a look. He didn't turn up and now won't return my calls. Reported to trading standards. They are not a part of competent roofers as they claim as they have been removed due to complaints. When they were members they didn't bother logging the jobs with them so you can't use them to escalate.Do yourself a favour and don't give them your money. You'll regret it.
I found this compant on Trust a Trader and askef for a quote for roof repair. They were very quick to come out and gave me a hood price for roof and replacing gutters. Roof is fine, but I have asked them to come back and look at the gutters as they are dripping. I have rung 4 times, the last 2 have gone to voicemail, so I think blocking my calls. Not sure why as I have not been polite and very patience. Would not recommend this company to friends or family. Customer care is very poor.
