Nice big park for families but seems to be neglected. The lake needs to be cleaned a d look after
A typical public park with boating lake and plenty of room for football and other games. Even has toilet facilities. Don't go very early or very late as sometimes dodgy characters wandering about.
Great city park. Great for skateboard and BMX track. Lots of wild birds on the lake. Also great project Platt Fields bicycle hub.
Beautiful park with ample space for walk run or jog. Two enlosed (out door) areas for children's play and also cycling route. Some parking space (access via Wimslow Road). Small lake with ducks. Nice area specially during summer. Some possibility of out door BBQ.
If you're looking for a walk after a great meal at the curry mile, this is the place to go. Feed the ducks, go for a stroll or even lie down on the grass... An open space for an even more open imagination!
