Naz and the team were great ! Needed an emergency bouquet last Wednesday for an event and she made me a beautiful box. Also needed her for an emergency bouquet today morning for a wedding and she personally picked out my flowers even though she was clearly swamped with multiple orders. Like it like it so so much, I've got so many plants from here. And not only, they have some nice candles the house is smelling just purrrrfect. The owner she is so kind, nice and attending to costumers and happy to help you anytime. I recommend this flower shop to anyone
Moss & Maple did the flowers for my wedding. Lovely flowers and arrangements. However, the flowers were 40 minutes late (10 minutes after the ceremony was due to start). I arrived at the venue at 4.25 and was told that the flowers hadn't arrived yet. I waited outside the venue for the flowers to arrive at 4.40 in a taxi and no member of staff. I emailed the shop for a explanation and was told football traffic had delayed them. However. I was driven from a similar location and did not encounter traffic. I also looked the kick off time up and the times did not correspond. We also had an issue with the final payment amount which differed from the invoice. Overall, nice flowers to go in and buy but definitely to be avoided for weddings/big events.
Unfortunately I can't leave a positive review of my experience, although I'm sure their flowers are lovely. I was passing this shop looking for a local balloon shop I had been told of, for my two year old niece I was walking with, harnessed. I saw a gent leaving Moss & Maple with a bunch of balloons and asked if they sold large number balloons and happily hopped inside to buy my niece her birthday treat, when he said yes. The lady that served me talked pleasantly to me with two members of staff as she made up my balloon, telling me how she had owned the business for years and moved 4 years ago, and when she went to hand me the balloon, the balloon came loose from the string and floated off along the ceiling. After her male member of staff, who was also very pleasant, had retrieved the balloon with a broom, and the balloon was retied, she handed the weight to the 2 year old and I paid the 10 charge for the balloon, leaving holding my nieces harness and the top of the balloon. Unfortunately after only a few minutes walk, the balloon came loose from the string at the top, and myself and my niece were left holding the weight and string(bow intact), as the balloon and ribbon floated into the A6 traffic, and then straight up . I would have left it, but a witness said go back and explain, and at the cost of 10 and the original goings on in the shop, I thought they might understand. When I returned holding the weight and string 5minutes after first leaving the shop I explained what had happened and they told me they would have to charge me the full 10 for another as it wasn't their fault it was windy! When I said I couldn't do that(20 for a balloon!), the owner said she could give me a small one. I was just upset by now as I felt they were really nice, but once they had my money, they didn't care and just wanted more. I left and made an review on a community page, which is what I thought a community page was for, and a lovely shop, Babyobaidi balloon boutique contacted me, saying they had a free balloon waiting for my niece at their shop, beautiful people!I took my post down as people became quite unpleasant on both sides, after Moss & Maple left a rude and unapologetic reply and community members told them off for not coming across as having good customer service. Since then the owner has told people she is closing down and myself and my family have undergone a tirade off online abuse. Horrible just horrible, all over having the audacity to complain about paying 20 for a balloon!
Moss Marple did me a beautiful bouquet of flowers for Ashcroft Surgery, even going the extra mile and adding in extra blooms as a gesture of goodwill. The were super colourful and unusual and looked pretty tropical. Always friendly and there are always some really unusual flowers for sale - I even bought venus fly traps from there one! 5 stars from me!!
