Pretty disappointing. Cup of tea was nice but the pancakes were more like a muffin and when we advised them we didn't like them and they were really not pancakes the did nothing to applease a customer. The smoking mackeral toastie lacked any real mackeral favour. Been here before and it was good then but think it has changed ownership and today very disappointing. On this basis and poor response we won't be back. If you want a cup of tea its good but our experience that's all.
One of the best brownies I've had in along time!I've come to visit my friend and by chance we came by this cafe, and when I saw that they offered gluten free and dairy free sweets I just had to try some. I had an absolutely delicious, juicy and rich nutty chocolate brownie with an amazing natural, sweet taste with a hint of bitterness from the nuts (take away). The cashier was friendly and answered all my questions regarding dietary requirements very patiently. It was a generous helping for a very reasonable prize. Next time I come to visit I will definately stay to have some coffee too - the furniture looks pretty and welcoming, the atmosphere of the place is just relaxing and makes one feel comfortable.
Awesome coffee and cake
Staff are really friendly. Food is tasty and the atmosphere is relaxing
Friendly down-to-earth place, good home-cooked food and home-made cakes. Good range of healthier options, plus vegan and gluten free. Quite chilled out. If I made one improvement it would be to change the music to something more relaxed - quite loud pop and disco is a bit irritating.
