Simply the best!
It was my first time at Reuben Wood and it was honestly the best salon experience Ive had. Emilie was brilliant, she knew what I wanted almost intuitively and she told me everything she was doing to my hair and why during my visit. She was so friendly and she made my hair look and feel amazing. Its a gorgeous salon, the environment is really relaxed and inviting and my whole experience from start to finish was first class. Ive been to a lot of different salons in Manchester but this is the only one that I would recommend, and especially recommend Emilie.
1st visit to Reuben Wood, walked past many times but always thought to be too posh for me. Day off in week and was feeling brave so booked appointment with Steve. Had a great consultation, making me feel instantly relaxed. Then to the hair wash with some great smelling products and lovely head massage. Always nervous getting 1st haircut at new place so was not feeling too relaxed but at the end of the sitting was made up with result! Steve had tweaked the style I have making it easier to manage and improving the look. Come away feeling I made the right decision, one I will be making again and again.

I would not recommend this place. After leaving I realised that I was given a very poor cut and not at all what I asked for. The staff are very nice but clearly inexperienced and still not cheap. There are many other hairdressers in the northern quarter. I suggest you visit one of them.
