Staff member who assisted me was friendly and explained to me each of their items so I could choose. All three items I chose were tasty however the Portuguese egg tart was my favourite. Will definitely come again.

One of my absolute must stop shops when I visit home. For 15 years Hos has been making manchesters most delicious fried spring onion bread, I stock up every time I come back. Their salted fried donut sticks are incredible and they make the most delicious sweet filled buns with custard or coconut or both. Hos Bakery reminds me of my childhood and teenage years in manchester and it makes me so happy visiting whenever I pass through my hometown.
It's all great stuff and the service is tip top too. Can't help feeling that if this was a trendy food van or in the Northern Quarter people would get more excited about it.Honey buns are a favourite of mine and this is the only place i've ever known to make fresh Portuguese (via Macau) Pastel De Nata. Well worth a visit for one of those alone! - unfortunately I don't have a picture as I scoffed it too quickly.
Wonderful and affordable place to eat a treat! Absolutely love their strawberry shortcake and my sister loves their pork buns. They do a wide assortment of Asian desserts, bread and snacks. Very delicious and always take my friends and family here when they visit Manchester as it's a nice change.
