Very friendly little corner shop. Butchers in the back selling halal meat.Shop has great selection of turkish Arabic and Carribean ingredients but the fresh veg and fruit needs attention, not always at its best.

I used a maestro card (EU) debit card and I was accused of lying by the quite rude and ironically European server behind the tills. She claimed I was lying about my debit card and that it's in fact a credit card and the store do not accept credit cards. 1. Maestro debit card is not a credit card 2. I have no reason to lie about my debit card being a credit card, I have no idea what the big deal was. 3. I was highly offended by being called a liar over a transaction that I didn't need to make at the shop...after she'd already taken the payment via the same debit card.I was having a lovely day in Manchester until I got to the shop!!! Rude staff.
